You can delete everything on your desktop, Recykle Bin also. Actually it is not deleted from desktop but it can be remove from your desktop, or hide it.......
Browse to this key in the Registry Editor:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Deskto
p\NameSpace\{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}.
The key called "{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}" is the one that shows the recykle bin. If you remove this one, the Recykle Bin will be deleted from your desktop. I suggest you export it first by rightclicking on it if you want to show it again at a later time. Make a backup!
When deleted you just refresh your desktop and it should dissapear.
